Henry Street School for International Studies is a new NYC public school based in an historic neighborhood where all students prepare for college and to find good jobs in the global economy through the pursuit of knowledge about world regions, cultures, and languages. Under the leadership of co-principals Hoa Tu and Cortney Allison, a dedicated faculty of experts in both academic subjects and in adolescent development provides rigorous, inquiry-based, internationally focused instruction, and partner with community and business organizations to help each student succeed.
South Gate International Learning Community
South Gate International Learning Community is a 6-12 school located in Los Angeles Unified School District's District 6, in the city of South Gate. District 6, which serves a primarily Latino mid-to low-income community, has an established record of meeting or exceeding state and local test score goals and recognizing the need to provide students the skills they will need for success in a global age. In addition to the integration of international content in the core subject areas, students have the opportunity to choose from foreign language instruction in Mandarin and Japanese, and elective courses ranging from World Drumming to Model UN.

AFS International provides worldwide leadership, coordination, support, quality control and development of AFS organizations and programs.
America-Mideast Educational and Training Services, Inc. (AMIDEAST) [website]
America-Mideast Educational and Training Services, Inc. (AMIDEAST) is a private, nonprofit organization that strengthens mutual understanding and cooperation between Americans and the peoples of the Middle East and North Africa. Every year, AMIDEAST provides appropriate English language skills training, educational advising and testing services to hundreds of thousands of students and professionals in the Middle East and North Africa; supports numerous institutional development projects in the region; and administers academic exchange programs. Founded in 1951, AMIDEAST is headquartered in Washington, DC with a network of field offices in Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, West Bank/Gaza, and Yemen.
Institute of International Public Policy (IIPP) [website]
The Institute of International Public Policy (IIPP) was established in 1994 with a multi-year grant from the Department of Education. It represents a direct respond to the identified national need to create a diverse talent pool of well-trained and language-proficient internationalists. IIPP fellows are minority students selected during their sophomore year of college to participate in a 5 years program that prepares them for work in the international arena. There is a special emphasis on selecting students from economically disadvanted background. Fellows must complete two summer policy studies institutes, junior year study abroad mission, and intensive language training. They then are eligible for financial assistance in pursuing a master degree in an international-affairs related field.

coast. Maintaining a globally diverse campus is an essential component
of the excellent education provided at the University of Washington.

Youth Venture [website]
Youth Venture inspires and invests in teams of young people to design and launch their own lasting social ventures, enabling them to have this transformative experience of leading positive social change. Started in the US, Youth Venture is now expanding internationally. As it invests in Venturers around the world, Youth Venture is beginning to connect them into a powerful global network.
The Venturers start businesses, civil society organizations and informal programs that address all kinds of social issues, including poverty, health, the elderly, the environment, education, diversity issues, and the arts. Youth Venture helps the Venturers through this process of designing and launching their ventures, providing guidance, how-to's, and a process for designing and pitching a venture idea.
