OWN Photos
Thru our OWN Eyes
“Thru our OWN Eyes” is a student gallery of photographs from their experiences around the world. Study abroad is often cited by OneWorld Now! students and alum as the most transformational part of OWN. This gallery allows OWN students to widely share their international experiences with others.
Bringing “Thru our OWN Eyes” to your community
OWN has held student photography shows in Seattle, New York, Rabat, and Honolulu showcasing photos from Morocco, Brazil, Qatar, Kenya, and China. Previous support for this project has included photographer Eric J. Henderson and Starbucks Coffee Company. Gallery shows typically consist of ten to fifteen pieces, all available for purchase. Proceeds from gallery shows go towards scholarships to send underserved students abroad. If you would like to host “Thru our OWN Eyes” in your community, please contact events@oneworldnow.org.
Online Gallery
Student photographs are posted on OWN’s online gallery for viewing and purchase. Photographs are custom printed by “SmugMug” in the size and medium you want and mailed directly to you. You can select from a wide variety of mediums and sizes – from a 5x7 print on high quality matte photo paper to a 36x36 wrapped canvas to a 6x6 ceramic tile, etc. All proceeds from online gallery sales go towards scholarships to send underserved OneWorld Now! students abroad.
