Seattle Program

Established in 2002

OneWorld Now! works with youth from all of the high schools and two of the middle schools in the Seattle Public School District.  OWN students apply for the program at the start of the school year, and commit to our two year language, leadership and study abroad program.  The OWN program meets three days per week after school (two days of language, one day of leadership) and then offers immersion language camp, leadership training and/or study abroad scholarships in the summertime.

OWN language classes are currently held at the following schools:

  • Rainier Beach High School
  • Cleveland High School
  • Nathan Hale High School
  • Franklin High School
  • Garfield High School
  • Chief Sealth High School
  • Roosevelt High School
  • Aki Kurose Middle School
  • Denny Middle School
