Developing the next generation of global leaders
The OneWorld Now! leadership program is our foundation for creating the next generation of global leaders concerned with social justice and equality. The OWN leadership program guides students through the following phases: discovery, vision, action, and reflection. Once a week, OWN students come together from the various high schools for our dynamic leadership workshops. These facilitated sessions employ participatory and experiential learning methods, aimed at cultivating intercultural sensitivity and an expanded sense of global citizenship within each student.
The OWN leadership program takes students on a journey through the following:
- PERSONAL LEADERSHIP
- SOCIAL IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT
- INTERCULTURAL SENSITIVITY
- GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP
- SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Through OneWorld Now!, our students realize their potential as leaders in their community and in their own life, and are empowered to do their part to make a positive change in the world!
